Get fit at Friendly House!
Friendly House provides everything you need to stay fit, healthy and active. Get the workout that’s right for you, no matter your age, income, background or ability. In-person classes, events and facilities are open from 7am–6pm, Monday–Friday.
A Friendly House Community Center Membership entitles you to use our gym and fitness center, as well as discounts on classes and rentals! Alternatively, for use of the gym and fitness center, you may pay a drop-in fee of $7 per day. Membership scholarships are available for those experiencing financial hardship. Gym
We have a full-size gymnasium that’s perfect for a game of basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, pickleball, you name it. There is a set of basketballs to choose from, but feel free to BYOB (bring your own ball). The basketball court features six hoops, four of which are adjustable from 6’–10’, with frequent open gym hours and Noon Hoops sessions, depending on availability. Fitness Center
We regularly upgrade our fitness room to accommodate your fitness needs. Whether you’re working on cardio, strength, endurance or flexibility, we have the equipment you need.
Our fully equipped fitness room includes:

- Traditional squat/bench rack
- Ellipticals
- Treadmills
- Physical therapist-recommended Nustep Machine
- Stationary bike
- Rowing machine
- Older adult-friendly strengthening equipment
Fitness Classes
Our expert instructors offer both beginner-friendly and more advanced-level classes to keep you happy and healthy. Tai chi, yoga, pickleball and more are available to all, with new classes added often.

Pickleball
Pickleball combines the best parts of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Sure, you’ll get a workout, but most of all you’ll have some fun! Our indoor courts provide ample space for multiple teams to battle one-on-one or two-on-two for pickleball glory.
Tai Chi
Tai chi is meditation in motion, promoting inner peace and physical health through a series of graceful movements that focus on balance and intention. We’ve got a class for you, no matter your age, ability or experience.
Yoga
You don’t need to have mastered crow pose to feel at home in our yoga classes, which are great for aspiring and experienced yogis of all levels. Expert instructors will guide you to movements and poses that feel right for you.
Friendly Thoughts
I most appreciate the diversity of customers here in the fitness room. There are people of every age, from 20’s-80’s, and every race. I greatly appreciate the welcoming attitude, the helpful staff, and variety of services. The cost of services is very reasonable. Many thanks for all of the above.
