The December First Writers for World Aids Day

The December First Writers for World Aids Day in collaboration with Our House of Portland (In Person)
The December First Writers were founded to give readings on December 1 (World AIDS Day) each year from their own writing on how AIDS/HIV has impacted their lives personally, and to raise funds for local AIDS organizations. They are dedicated to education, dialogue, community building, and to raising awareness and support for AIDS organizations and resources in our community, as well as entertaining and educating many different types of audiences with their diverse writing. Our House of Portland has been part of the community since 1988 and recently merged with Cascade Aids Project. They provide housing, healthcare, and other vital services to people in need in our community living with HIV.
Join us in amplifying the experience of those living with or who know someone living with AIDS/HIV while raising funds for Our House of Portland.
Suggested donation $20; no one turned away for lack of funds.
