Stormwater Stars Workshop

May 5 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Come help us replace the lawn on NW Savier St with beautiful native plants! All workshop attendees will receive a free native plant as a thank you for participating in the workshop! As a health safety precaution, workshop size is limited so sign up soon to secure your spot.

This hands-on workshop is a partnership between Stormwater Stars, Friendly House, and the Westside Watershed Resource Center.

Free • Sunday, May 5 • 10am–12pm • Friendly House: 1737 NW 26th Ave, Portland OR 97210

Stormwater Stars workshops provide ideas on how to manage rain that falls around the spaces where you live, work, and play. You’ll receive an overview of different ways to handle stormwater issues, and get plenty of hands-on practice in restoring soils, naturescaping with native plants, creating porous pathways, and more! This workshop will highlight the Tanner Creek watershed and replacing lawns with native plants.

Pre-registration is required. Click here to sign up with the google form.
