NEW! Portland Parks & Recreation: Community Conversations Series at Friendly House

March 10 @ 10:45 am - 12:15 pm

Join us for a three-month conversation series that provides a supportive environment to explore the joys and challenges of aging. Led by a volunteer peer facilitator, these sessions invite reflection, growth, and connection.

January 13: Healthy Aging
Following a healthy aging routine takes both focus and dedication. Let’s discuss activities that we can take to help us stay physically and mentally active, enjoy a healthy diet, and develop a positive attitude to improve the quality of our lives. Spots still available!

February 10: End-of-Life Decisions
Considering end-of-life realities can be overwhelming and easily set aside. Let’s talk about making plans and asking questions about these decisions. Note: This conversation does not provide legal advice but instead offers a safe environment to explore and share feelings, fears, and thoughts that surround end-of-life issues.

March 10: Learning from Grief & Loss

10:45am–12:15pm | 2nd Tuesdays | January 13 February 10, and March 10 | Attend one discussion or take part in the full series. Free
RSVP required: Please visit our website to register portland.gov/parks/register. Or call the Lifelong Recreation phone line at 503-823-4328
