Neighborhood Walk: Celebrating the Legacy of Charles Jordan

Join us for a special community walk to Wallace Park, led by local historian Tanya March of Slabtown Tours. Along the way, we’ll reflect on the inspiring legacy of Charles Jordan, Portland’s first African American city commissioner and a passionate advocate for equity and access in public spaces. Please bring water, apply and bring sunscreen, and wear sturdy walking shoes.

The tour will begin at Friendly House.
