Conceptualizations of identity have changed dramatically since the original development of gay and lesbian communities in the early 1970s. This presentation will look at historical context and current-day lived experience—how we got from there to here, what support looks like these days and the generational differences in experience of seemingly similar identities.
Presented by Reid Vanderburgh, an author, retired therapist and renown presenter on both LGBTQ+ and older adult issues.
