Gordon Neal Herman Presents: Glen Miller – Tragic Star

This January and February join our favorite musicologist, Gordon Neal Herman, on a journey through time and music to learn more about well-loved musicians and their work!

Glenn Miller was a beloved big band leader. He began his career in the late 1910s, worked with a variety of bands and helped organize the Dorsey Brothers band before forming his own band. His career was cut short during WWII when the airplane he was on disappeared over the English Channel.
