Drop-In Tech Help with Nolan

Whether you’re setting up a new device, solving a tech mystery, or just trying to make your gadgets work for you, Nolan is here to help. He offers clear, step-by-step support for navigating smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. With patience and a judgment-free approach, he meets you where you are. Please bring your tech device or feel free to use a computer in our internet center. This project is made possible through funding from AARP. Note: Tech help has been postponed until September 11th.
1:30–6:00pm • Mondays and Thursdays • September 11–October 30 • Free • Friendly House: 1737 NW 26th Ave
About Nolan: I’ve been around computers since I was tall enough to reach a keyboard, thanks to my developer dad. I’ve built PCs for myself, but I also love the smooth simplicity of using Apple devices. Now, I use that lifelong comfort with tech to support people who didn’t grow up with it — whether it’s navigating smartphones, setting up email, managing passwords, or getting comfortable with video calls. I break things down step by step, answer every question with patience, and never assume what someone “should” know. My goal is to make tech feel less like a chore — and maybe even something you enjoy.
