Cooking Demonstration Workshop – Holiday Cheesecakes!

Join us and we will make cheesecakes together during a live demo of making miniature cheesecakes for the upcoming Jewish holiday of Shavuot! Instructor Yos Shallman will talk about different toppings and methods and everyone will get to share stories of their favorite cheesecake recipes! Throughout the demonstration we’ll also discuss the upcoming Jewish holiday of Shavuot, the holiday celebrating the Jewish people receiving the Torah at Mount Sinai and what the relation is to making and having cheesecake for the holiday. Looking forward to everyone joining this demo!
The first six people to sign up from the Portland area will have cheesecake ingredients and supplies delivered to their home in time for the workshop.

Yos has been infatuated with food for as long as he can remember and loves engaging folks with demonstrations and food talks geared towards older adults with special dietary needs.
