Community Night: Movie Night – The Lorax (2012)
Every Friday night, we host Community Nights in the Friendly House Community Center. We open up our doors to everyone from 5:30pm – 8pm, no matter if you are a member or not. You can access the internet center, go to our open gym or work out in our fitness center, hit the showers, or just join us for our Community Night activity. Whether it’s a guest speaker, craft, or a movie night, we always have something to do on Friday!
The Lorax is a vibrant animated film based on Dr. Seuss’s beloved story, following a young boy as he learns the importance of protecting the environment and the natural world. Its playful characters and powerful message about conservation and caring for trees make it a fun, family-friendly way to continue Earth Day celebrations and inspire a love for nature.
