Community Conversation: Slabtown History
February 7 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join Tanya from Slabtown Tours for a visual and oral history that recounts numerous historic images of lost buildings and existing historic sites, including the oldest house on NW 23rd, the former sites of the Vaughn Street Ballpark, historic streetcar rails, the entrance of the 1905 Lewis & Clark Fair, and the world’s greatest log cabin. Slabtown is a traditional working-class neighborhood that is rapidly changing. We invite you to hear the storied history of the neighborhood and how it has changed through time.
