Community Conversation: Portland’s Historic Transition to a New Form of Government and Elections System

March 10 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

Lory Hefele and Leah Benson are both NW Portland neighbors and members of Portland’s Government Transition Advisory Committee, tasked with providing strategic advice to the city and educating community members on our historic transition to a new form of government and elections system. They will discuss the historic transition, including our four new districts, how ranked-choice voting works, the new Mayor-Council form of government, and more.

Lory and Leah are committed to supporting an efficient and effective transition, and they know that it will be the most successful when Portlanders are well-informed. Please join us to learn about the transition and get your questions answered!
