Artist Lecture + Showing (In Person)

Join Jessica Rehfield, a Jewish-American artist, for a discussion of her upcoming book, Mayn Knaidl, and her artwork inspired by Yiddish heritage. The book uses artwork to depict a story of making matzoh ball soup, while the text teaches you simple phrases and words in Yiddish. Jessica Rehfield is a Jewish-American with undergrad studies in language and art and an MFA in Painting and Drawing from OCAC in 2019. She began to learn Yiddish during the pandemic and makes projects that engage with people about community, languages and how we learn from each other.
