We’re here for you.
Friendly House provides programs and services for everyone, from preschoolers to older adults. All of our services are offered for free or on a sliding fee scale, to ensure a welcoming and equitable space for all.
Full-day classes for ages 3-5.
Summer & Winter Camps
Activities-based day camps for elementary–age kids.
Classes on history, music, technology, culture and more provided by expert instructors.
SAGE Metro Portland
Services and advocacy for LGBT older adults.
Community Outreach Programming
Community-building programs for residents of Cascadian Terrace Apartments and other low-income communities.
Enriching after school care for Chapman Elementary students.
Student Success at Home
Distance learning support for students learning at home.
Fun and accessible classes, a full-court gymnasium, and a fully equipped workout room to keep you in top shape.
Family-friendly activities and free use of our community center facilities every Friday night.
Case management, information & referral, and other life-sustaining services for older adults in Multnomah County.
Come Visit Us!
Our Fitness Room, Lockers, & Internet Center are open to the public Monday–Friday, 7am–1:30pm, as well as some in-person classes and activities. Check our calendar for more information.
Free access to showers is available from 5:30–7pm on Friday nights, with the last chance to sign up for showers at 6:30pm.

Monday-Friday, 11:45am–1:15 pm
Monday and Friday, 7–9:15 am
Extended Childcare until 6pm
